
Chase McCleary is a an experienced documentary filmmaker and multimedia journalist.
He started nonfiction filmmaking while working as one of the first multimedia journalists at UC Berkeley's independent student-run newspaper, The Daily Californian, where he made a number of films screened at film festival and had the chance to direct and edit a film with then-UC Berkeley chancellor Carol Christ.

He has since made nearly 100 short horizontal and vertical documentaries for Rocky Mountain PBS while continuing to make pro-bono films with nonprofits and 8mm film collected at estate sales.
